Reading Shakespeare can be a daunting and even dreaded task for kids. That is, until a University of Guelph English professor added a futuristic spaceship and an outer-space mission into the mix.

That’s what we can read in the News Release of ‘Speare, a space shooter that adds some literacy skills besides, well, shooting spaceships. It looks like a quite standard arcade space-shooter, but a good looking one. Go ahead and try the Demo version. Doesn’t matter how old you are, I’m sure it’ll give you a couple of minutes of fun, at least.
You can play the game online or in a platform Adobe recently released: Apollo. So not only is this a quite unique concept, it’s state of the art technology as well.
